About Me

Let It Eat You For Fun is a solo project by multi-instrumentalist and producer, Aaron. Forever influenced by bands such as Maybeshewill, Mogwai, (early) Foals, 65daysofstatic, And So I Watch You From Afar, and Giraffes? Giraffes! this project blends all of those influences into one unique sound.

From pitch-shifted odd-timed guitars to ethereal ambient soundscapes that burst into an epic explosive crescendo, Let It Eat You For Fun has it all. Is it post-rock, math-rock, or post-hardcore? Honestly, we’re not sure. This project is the culmination of decades of writing music in bands that never quite got off the ground, with Aaron putting his heart and soul into every instrument you hear, and he’s having the best time.

Let It Eat You For Fun shot on the scene in 2025 with their debut EP, I Want To Fly The Plane. These three tracks aim to showcase the band’s more math rock-inspired sound while incorporating elements of post-rock, drawing inspiration from artists such as And So I Watch You From Afar, Explosions in the Sky, Maybeshewill, Mogwai, and others.

In 2026, Let It Eat You For Fun plans to release their debut album, Upon the Forest Floor, which draws heavily on post-rock influences. This album is set to showcase their more atmospheric side with slower builds, epic climaxes, and intricate instrumentation. The first single, A Kiss and a Flight, is set to land on March 4, 2026, followed by a handful of other tracks from the album. Upon the Forest Floor is set to be released on April 17, 2026.
